Just another day in Always on Availability world, the cluster members decide to revolt. Revolt was stamped at its infancy but not without its consequences. One of them was that my Storage Pools were in a state of Headlessness! Reattaching my disks via GUI proved to be unsuccessful as the disks disappeared post a reboot.
Open PowerShell to understand the drama
Get-VirtualDisk
The value for IsManualAttach was set to True for all the disks in the storage pool.
Running the following command:
Get-VirtualDisk | Set- VirtualDisk –IsManualAttach $False
Seems to have fixed that problem and the disks were showing up after a reboot.
Cheers
